Cancer Talk: Prologue

This is my cancer story.

I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2015.

I have finally decided to write about my experience on this “Cancer Talk” category.

Writing about my cancer experience is mostly my way of dealing with my life right now, a form of therapy.

However not only that, I also want to share what I have gone/am going through to other people: family, friends or even strangers.

Another reason for writing my story is that I want people to read my REAL story from myself, not a story they’ve heard from a friend of a friend of a friend’s sister’s aunt. I am saying this because during my first stage of being ill, I know at least one person who was spreading the wrong story of my condition. I was too weak to defend myself at that time and it was unpleasant to know that people were talking falsely of me when I simply couldn’t do anything about it.

Let me be clear though that this is my own experience and I can assure you that it will not be the same as other people’s. Please bear that in mind.
